DESCRIPTION OF FLOWER: Sunflowers are one of those flower that just make one smile. They come in mostly yellow, but other colors are sometimes available commercially. The yellow sunflowers can have either black or green centers. Some variation in the size of the sunflowers is available when they are in season locally.
PROS: These large flowers are a great value in ceremony arrangements, on arches/chuppahs or in centerpieces.
CONS: These large flowers can tend to dominate any arrangement in which they are used. They are best either used with by themselves, with other large flowers or with filler flowers. They may be used in bridal bouquets but can be somewhat heavy.
