Rustic Wedding at Crabtree’s Kittle House, Chappaqua, New York

Share

Cris and Mike wanted their wedding to be different. They accomplished this in part through a combination of elements such as birch cross section, mini pumpkins, string, mason jars and casually arranged flowers. The cedar wedding arch incorporated bittersweet and curly willow with roses and callas. The place cards were made from paper cut in the shape of leaves and hung from a tree made from real branches.

Jenna and Joe chose the beautiful Le Chateau in South Salem, New York for both their ceremony and reception. The side garden, with its intricate stonework and lovely plantings, was the perfect place to exchange their vows. Following the ceremony the garden was transformed into the cocktail area, complete with tables and the built in stone bar. The reception took place in the main dining room with its chestnut hand carved walls, fireplace and view of the garden.

20 Years of Events at Le Chateau, South Salem, New York

Share

March 20, 2012- Today Cheshire Tree Floral Designs celebrates its 20th anniversary of designing for events at Le Chateau Restaurant in South Salem. Although today is mild with temperatures in the 70s, that day was quite different. It was also the first day of spring, but someone forgot to tell old man winter who got in a parting shot with 5 inches of snow! The bride and groom had to “convince” their driver to use the Rolls Royce to transport them. Of course Cheshire Tree Floral Designs was on site early at the church and reception to set up their floral decor despite the weather. All in all the bride, groom and guests had a  tremendous celebration at Le Chateau.

St. Marks and Reid Castle Wedding-Chessie and Michael

Share

St. Mark’s church in Mount Kisco, New York played host to the wedding of Chessie and Michael. The history of the parish dates back to 1761 with the current church structure having been consecrated in 1917. The couple wished to have the sanctuary lavishly decorated with flowers in pink, blue and white. The decorations included arrangements for the three altars, a garland for the choir stall and bouquets of peonies for the pew.
