Hotel Thayer, West Point Military Wedding-Amy and Jason

Amy and Jason chose to have their wedding ceremony and reception at the Hotel Thayer. The groom is a graduate of West Point and currently serving in the Army.

Amy chose white, yellow and blue as her colors. The bridesmaids gowns were navy and they carried small bouquets of bright yellow calla lilies. The bride carried a bouquet of white mini calla lilies. The centerpieces combined these color in lighter shades through the use of white peonies, pale yellow spray roses and light blue hydrangea.

The individual calla lilies were arranged to make the bouquet look like one large composite flower.

The aisle chairs were decorated with white roses held in place with a navy satin bow.

The wedding arch made by the groom’s uncle was decorated with two floral swags.

One centerpiece was designed with a combination of different types of flowers together. These included light blue hydrangea, pale yellow spray roses, white peonies and baby’s breath.

The second design for the centerpieces was a decontructed version of the first with each flower in its own vase.
