Virgina and Dan’s Wedding at Le Chateau, South Salem, New York

Share

Virginia and Dan chose to hold their ceremony and reception at the elegant Le Chateau Restaurant. Le Chateau’s lovely country mansion was originally built by J.P. Morgan for his minister in 1907. The natural brick and stone exterior, richly colored interior of paneled chestnut, cherry and oak, hand-hewn woodwork, chestnut beams, grand staircase and cozy stone fireplaces offer and unparalleled experience.

The couple selected two different color palates. The ceremony incorporated more casual blue and white flowers befitting a garden wedding. The reception flowers consisted of more formal arrangements of white and cream hydrangea, lisianthus and roses. A late summer day provided perfect weather for the festivities.

We very much enjoyed working with Virginia and Dan and wishe them all the best for their future.

Virginia’s bouquet, mainly blue and white, was designed with white spray roses, blue thistle, white freesia, blue hybrid delphinium and succulents.

Every thirs row of chairs was accented with a hanging pail of white hydrangea.

The other aisle chairs held hanging cones of rose petals with which to shower the bride and groom during the recessional.
