Stacy and John’s Wedding-Crabtree’s Kittle House, Chappaqua, New York

Stacy and John chose Crabtree’s Kittle House for their ceremony and reception. The bride chose white and yellow to be the them colors of the day.

The ceremony took place in the back garden overlooking the Mount Kisco Country Club on what can only be considered a gorgeous day.  The ceremony site was flanked with arrangements of simple yet elegant glass vases with white hydrangea. The hydrangea theme was carried through to the aisle chairs which were decorated with a single white hydrangea. White and yellow rose petals lined the aisle, gently guiding the bride to the groom.

To add interest the bride and groom selected two different designs for the guest tables at the reception. One design used square clear glass vases of yellow roses and white stock. In the other design five cylinder vases with submerged gold mokara orchids and earth tone river rocks were topped with a floating candle. The bride and groom spent much time adding their own touches to the reception. These included custom book fold place cards tied with ribbon, table numbers incorporating family photos, menus with a custom monogram and guest favors.

Stacy dropped us this note:

“I sincerely wanted to say thank you for everything regarding our Sept 7 wedding at Kittle house! All the flowers and special touches we discussed (such as the memorial candles) were absolutely beautiful! Everything came together and looked even better than we imagined, and you and Kent completely captured “us” and the look we wanted (simple, but elegant). We so enjoyed working with you and appreciate your help and patience. I cannot say enough how beautifully it all came together, from the centerpieces to the lanterns on the ledge to the outside lighting (PS – I LOVED the little “pearl” pins throughout the flowers in my bouquet).”

“Thanks again for everything! Stacy”

Stacy’s bouquet included ivory roses, white spray roses, dendrobium orchids, gold mokara orchids and stephanotis with pearls.

The bridesmaids carried bouquets of cream colored calla lilies and white waxflower tied with a white satin bow.

The flower girl carried a petite white basket decorated with white daisies and waxflower. The basket was later filled with white and yellow rose petals.

In lieu of a guest book, Stacy and John asked their guests to write something on one of four (one yet to arrive) bottles of wine. They intend to open the bottles on their first, fifth, tenth and twentieth anniversaries allowing them to reflect on their guests’ good wishes.

The cocktail table arrangements mimicked one of the centerpiece designs with a floating candle and earth tone river rocks.

The table numbers were created incorporating family photos.

Stacy and John created a custom monogram for their wedding which they used on their favors, menus, place card table and “guest bottle” table.

One of the two guest table designs was submerged gold mokara orchids with earth tone river rocks topped with floating candles.

The other guest table design used yellow roses and white stock in clear square glass vases accented with a silver ribbon.

The patio outside the reception was decorated with white bulb lighting, inviting guests into the beautiful summer evening to mingle.
