The theme of the wedding was ORCHIDS, ORCHIDS, ORCHIDS!!! From Shirley’s and the bridesmaids bouquets to the boutonnieres to centerpieces orchids ruled!

Shirley and Daniel’s ceremony took place in the formal sunken garden with boxwood hedges. Guest were seated in the garden and on the sprawling lawn beyond. A special ceremony area where the bride and groom were wed is located above the garden providing a clear view for all guests.

The reception was held in the larger performance tent as the 350+ guests exceeded the capacity of the reception tent. Brightly colored, mostly tropical flowers were used on the buffet tables and the tall centerpieces on the guest tables. Of course orchids were incorporated as well.
