A view of the front of Catlin Gardens reception buildingWow! Bethany and Justin had just a wonderful fall day for their wedding! The ceremony took place at the West Point Cadet Chapel with the reception at Catlin Gardens in Slate Hill, New York. Catlin Gardens is a wonderful venue with elaborate gardens, fountains, and pathways outdoors. The cocktail/reception area is elegantly appointed and the staff is professional and friendly.

Bethany chose white, purple and lavender as the theme colors for her wedding. These colors were used in all of the floral designs from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the cake. One half of the centerpieces were lower arrangements of submerged dendrobium orchids in clear glass vases with glass marbles and a floating candle. The other half were tall arrangements of hydrangeas, calla lilies, matthiola (stock), roses, lisianthus and ruskus atop tapered clear glass vases with a submerged dendrobium. All of the tables were accented with the romantic glow of ivory votive candles.
