Noelle and Mordy’s Wedding at Crabtree’s Kittle House, Chappauqua, New York

A romantic glow was created using both votive and taper candles.Noelle and Mordy’s wedding took place on the eve of Hurricane Irene’s arrival in the tri-state area. The ceremony was held inside due to the inclement weather, which did not dampen the spirit of the couple or their guests. Crabtree’s Kittle House was cozy and warm. Romantic lighting was provided¬† by the many candles on the tables and around the cocktail and reception areas.

Noelle’s bouquet was created using white and peach garden roses, white matthiola, white lisianthus and sweetly scented stephanotis flowers.

The stems of the bride’s bouquet was accented with a strand of pearls and a cameo pin belonging to her grandmother.

The bridesmaid’s bouquets contained white roses, green hypericum and salal leaves which complimented their navy blue dresses.

The mothers carried simple nosegays of white roses and freesia.

A wrist corsage created using white lisianthus and green hypericum berries was worn by the bride’s cousin.

The men’s boutonnieres were a white rose, green hypericum berries and a grapevine tendril.

The aisle chairs were decorated with white metallic pails of blue hydrangea. The arrangements were move to the cocktail tables following the ceremony.

The top of the chuppah was covered with a family talit held in place by poles covered in grapevine decorated with blue and white hydrangea and white oriental lilies. After the ceremony many of the flowers were move to the window ledge for enjoyment during the reception.

A monogrammed wreath made with various shades of hydrangea hung behind the bride and groom’s sweetheart table.

The centerpieces utilized milk glass for the main design flanked by two milk glass bud vases. The containers held white hydrangea, peach roses, white lisianthus, green hypericum, white dahlias, yellow freesia and seeded eucalyptus.

Votive and tapers candles add romance to the centerpieces designed using white hydrangea, peach roses, white lisianthus, green hypericum, white dahlias, yellow freesia and seeded eucalyptus.

Candles created a soft, warm romantic glow in the Atrium Room of Crabtree’s Kittle House.

The basket weave cake with stacked layers was decorated with white and yellow freesia, pink and yellow spray roses, white lisianthus, white matthiola florets and seeded eucalyptus.
